  2. Hello ! It doesn't really matter, you can use any connector you like. I have built a second PCB today with usual header connectors, take a look :

  6. Excellent ! Let's make the meeting there, it is fantastic. We should wait until we know more or less the number of people and book a table. I think that 20:00 is fine, in order to have enough time to talk, and EAT ! :) :) :) What do you guys think ?
  7. We are waiting for you !! Propositions about the meeting place are mostly welcome. I suggest Ouzou Melathron :) :) :)
  8. But this is surely PIC : http://www.fse.bc.ca/Keyless.html I think it is easy to extract only the locking circuity.... ;)
  9. I salute all full members ! Please welcome me as well :) :)
  10. OOPS ! Sorry guys, this is for AVR ! It is haunting me ;D
  11. I forgot the site ! http://radiotech.by.ru/Shematic_PCB/PIC-controlers/touch_mem.htm any russian fellow here ?
  12. I am starting this topic because some people ask me about this. I have got some sample serial number ibuttons and I really want to play with them in order to make a locking mechanism. I keep searching the net for projects and ideas, so any contributions are welcome !!! What I have already found is this site, but it is in russian !! ...well...www.systranbox.net I also found the files I am attaching... PICibutton.zip
  13. Dear MP, congratulations on your highest ranking in this forum !!!! As far as press-n-peel is concerned, it is indeed very good but it is also a matter of experience on the ironing time and temperature. And of course the copper must be really clean and scratched on the surface in order for the toner to stick well. Another fact is that it does not always stick well near the pcb edges, so extra care is needed there. And finally there is no visual way to know when to stop ironing. Sometime in the future when I have more time and money I will try the UV method too. But for hobby projects it is all right for now ! :)
  14. Illegal or not, the sound cannot be decoded...yet. No way. Have you stabilized the image to be always positive ?
  15. This is my first effort to make a PCB using the press-n-peel sheets. The results for me are amazing ! Any comments ??? Will come back with full details, descriptions and tips if the forum demands so :) :)
