We are planning to make a cellphone charger powered/through laptops or desktop with the used of usb connector. My prolems are:What is the output voltage of USB ports?Is this capable to fully charged the battery of the phone?thank you... in advanced for sharing your ideas. Hero999 Posted June 16, 2010 Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 The voltage is 5V and there is enough current to charge a battery.The standard socket for most phones is a miniature USB socket which can probably be connected to a computer to charge the phone.
