im building a musical doorbell that needs a 2sc828 transistor.  can i replace it using any other transistors?

You hyjacked this thread instead of starting your own thread.
The 2SC828 is an old Japanese transistor. Any low voltage low current transistor will probably work fine like a 2N3904 or a 2N2222.
