yero Posted April 16, 2012 Report Share Posted April 16, 2012 I have two of these units to use the chassis and other components to build a tube power amp. I want to also use the power transformer. The unit uses a mallory g1501 12v vibrator. for some reason i believe that the power transformer is not a high voltage unit. why is a vibrator used when there is an AC input. is the transformer HV or is the hv gennrtated using this vibrator and why? yero Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
