I think the board referred to on this page is the Idea3588S from Boardcon/AMDesigner, not Broadcom.[1][2] Perhaps you confused Boardcon with Broadcom? Broadcom Inc. (headquartered in North San Jose, CA USA) is an embedded hardware (SoC/SoM) and software manufacturer.[3] The SoCs from Broadcom compete directly with SoCs from Rockchip (Fuzhou Rockchip Electronics Co., Ltd.)[4] The Idea3588S board uses the Rockchip RK3588S SoC which is a slightly lighter version of the Rockchip RK3588.[5] The main differences are the RK3588 supports SATA3.0, Android 12, Debian 11, and Buildroot, while the RK3588S lacks SATA3.0 and natively only supports Android 12 (although I would be surprised if the RK3588 BSP could not be hacked to bring both Debian 11, and Buildroot to the RK3588S too). For the RK3588 there are Boardcon/AMDesigner Idea boards as well.[6][7]

You’re correct; that was an oversight. Thank you for pointing it out.
