EDATEC has introduced the ED-AIC3100, a 12MP industrial smart camera based on the Raspberry Pi CM5. It features a Broadcom BCM2712 quad-core Cortex-A78 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC running at 2.4GHz. The device supports up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC storage, with configurable options including 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB RAM, along with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB eMMC.

The smart camera supports a sampling rate of up to 70 FPS for high-speed image acquisition. It includes an M12 fixed focal length lens with liquid module zoom and bright field/dark field modes for improved imaging on various surfaces. The device also supports C-Mount lenses and is housed in an industrial-grade blue aluminum alloy case with bracket mounting support.
