LILYGO T3 TCXO is A Low-Cost ESP32-Based Development Board with LoRa, Wi-Fi, BLE, and OLED Display for IoT and Wireless Applications
LILYGO has recently introduced the T3 TCXO development board, based on the ESP32 supporting a frequency of 915MHz with 4MB of flash memory, offering wireless connectivity through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth V4.2+ BLE. The board includes several useful features like a reset and boot button, multiple GPIOs, QWIIC connectors, a TF card slot, and supports power supply via USB or a 3.7V Lipo battery with a battery switch. It also has a 0.96-inch SSD1306 I2C OLED display with a 128×64 resolution and uses the I2C interface (SDA on IO21, SCL on IO22). The product is ideal for wireless communication projects, IoT applications, and DIY electronics.
Unlike other LILYGO products with LoRa capabilities, such as the T3 S3 LR1121 and T-ETH-Elite, this device is built around the ESP32-PICO-D4 SoC. It features integrated Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 (BR/EDR and LE), and 4MB of Quad-SPI flash memory.
This board offers approximately 19 GPIO pins, 13 ADC pins, 7 touch pins, a single DAC pin, and various other features. It also includes two QWIIC connectors, a built-in PCB Wi-Fi antenna, and a dedicated connector for LoRa antennas.
The board supports multiple power supply options, apart from USB input, and a 3.7V LiPo battery through a dedicated JST-PH connector, it also has a solar input with support for a solar charger. It has a built-in battery switch for easy power management with Reset and Boot buttons for programming and debugging. Additional technical details are available on the LoRa Series GitHub repository.

Previously, we wrote some LILYGO products with ESP32-based LoRa modules including the T3S3 E-Paper, and the T-Embed CC1101. We have also covered Seeed Studio’s XIAO ESP32S3, a Meshtastic and LoRa development kit that integrates the XIAO ESP32S3 board with the compact Wio-SX1262 LoRa module. Feel free to check those out, if you are interested in this topic.
The package comes with the LILYGO T3 V3.0 TCXO development board, a connection cable, two pin headers for prototyping, and an external antenna to enhance wireless range.
The LILYGO T3 TCXO development board Version [SX1276] is available for $22.88 and supports frequency bands of either 868MHz or 915MHz, as specified on the LILYGO online store.
