Alliance Memory 4GB and 8GB eMMC solutions

Alliance Memory today introduced two new industrial-grade embedded multi-media card (eMMC) solutions. For solid-state storage in consumer, industrial, and networking applications, the 4GB ASFC4G31M-51BIN and 8GB ASFC8G31M-51BIN each integrate NAND flash memory with an eMMC controller and flash transition layer (FTL) management software in a single 11.5 mm by 13 mm 153-ball FBGA package.

The devices released today are compliant with the JEDEC eMMC v5.1 industry standard, supporting features such as boot operation; replay protected memory block (RPMB); device health report; field firmware updates; power off notification; enhanced strobe features for faster and more reliable operation; write leveling; high-priority interrupt (HPI); secure trim/erase; and high-speed HS200 and HS400 modes. The ASFC4G31M-51BIN and ASFC8G31M-51BIN are also backwards-compatible with eMMC v4.5 and v5.0.

The eMMCs will be used in products such as smart watches, tablets, digital TVs, set-top boxes, VR and AR headsets, digital cameras, infotainment, CCTV, surveillance, automation, point-of-sale systems and emerging embedded applications. For designers, the ASFC4G31M-51BIN and ASFC8G31M-51BIN simplify designs for fast and easy system integration in these products — speeding up product development and time to market — while saving space by eliminating the need for an external controller. In addition, the devices’ FTL software provides high reliability and stable performance with wear leveling and bad block management.

The ASFC4G31M-51BIN and ASFC8G31M-51BIN operate over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and offer programmable bus widths of x1, x4, and x8. The devices’ NAND memory with internal LDO can be powered with a single 3V supply voltage, while the controller can be powered by 1.8V or 3V dual supply voltages.

Infineon Technologies MOTIX™ BLDC TLE956X Motor Control Shield (BLDCSHIELDTLE956XTOBO1) is a demonstration and development platform for the TLE9563-3QX Motor Control System IC. The TLE9563-3QX is a multifunctional system IC with an integrated power supply, communication interfaces, multiple half-bridges, and additional support features. The device is designed for various motor control automotive applications. To support these applications, the TLE9563-3QX provides the main functions, such as a 5V low-dropout voltage regulator, one HS-CAN transceiver supporting CAN FD, and CAN Partial Networking. The device also integrates three half-bridges for BDLC motor control, one current sense amplifier, and one 32-bit serial peripheral interface (SPI).

The Infineon Technologies MOTIX BLDC TLE956X Motor Control Shield features a pre-installed TLE9563-3QX in a PG-VQFN-48 package. The Motor Control Shield also features an onboard Back-EMF detection circuit and a connector for a HALL sensor.

The TLE956X Motor Control Shield is designed to be controlled by the ConfigWizard GUI (Graphics User Interface) via the µIO-Stick Interface Device (not included). In addition, the Motor Control Shield features an Arduino-compatible interface, enabling it to be used with an Arduino UNO Microcontroller Board.

REF70 – Ultra-high-precision voltage reference with low noise and low drift

Texas Instruments REF70 Precision Voltage Reference is a family of high-precision series voltage references that offers the industry’s lowest noise (0.23ppmp-p). They offer a very low-temperature drift coefficient (2ppm/°C) and high accuracy (±0.025%). The REF70 offers a high PSRR, low dropout voltage, and excellent load and line regulation to help meet strict transient requirements. This combination of precision and features is designed for applications such as test and measurement that demand a precise reference. Eliminate power-up errors with Maxim’s MAX16162 small, low-power, glitch-free supervisor

Maxim’s MAX16162 ultra-low current, single-channel supervisory IC monitors the power supply voltage and asserts a reset when the input voltage falls below the reset threshold. After the monitoring voltage rises above the factory-set threshold voltage, the reset output remains asserted for the reset timeout period and then de-asserts, allowing the target microcontroller or microprocessor to leave the reset state and begin operating.

Owon HSA1000 Series 3.6GHz Handheld Spectrum Analyzer

The HSA1000 9 kHz – 1.6/3.6GHz Handheld Spectrum Analyzers include a built-in EMI Pre-Compliance Test mode and an optional 100kHz to 3.6GHz Tracking Generator

Saelig Company, Inc. (www.saelig.com) has introduced the Owon HSA1000 Handheld RF Spectrum Analyzers which cover a frequency range of 9kHz – 1.6/3.6GHz with 1Hz resolution. The HSA1000 series has a very low -160dBm DANL which allows accurate low-noise measurements of even very weak signals. An optional Tracking Generator can sweep over the frequency range of 100kHz to 3.6GHz. An EMI Pre-Compliance Test function with an EMI filter (6dB) and peak detector is built-in, which allows for convenient EMI pre-testing and diagnosis. Complete results are available using the supporting software provided.  More than 200 EMC test standards and regulations are included. Optimized for space-saving industrial sensor installations

Rugged hybrid connectors with PoE+

The binder series 818 products meet the requirements of data transmission in industrial Ethernet networks. Equipped with screw locking, the electromechanical connection meets the specifications of protection degree IP67 when mated and locked. It thus offers adequate protection against the influences of harsh industrial environments.

Beyond data communication, the hybrid D-coded M8 connectors take on the task of power supply in accordance with the IEEE 802.3at standard (Power-over-Ethernet-Plus, PoE+) to the connected devices.

Overmolded and shielded or screw termination

The 4-pin D-coded M8 connectors are equipped with gold-plated and symmetrically arranged contacts and are designed for more than 100 mating cycles.
