This project provides a variable output power supply ranging from 1.2 to 37 V @ 1.5 A. Uses industry popular LM317 in TO3 package for delivering variable output voltage.
Specifications
- Input 40 VDC or 28V AC 2Amps
- Output : 1.2 to 37 V @ 1.5 A regulated low ripple DC voltage
- Heatsink for regulator IC
- Onboard bridge rectifier to convert AC to DC
- LED indication at input of IC
- Thermal overload/short circuit protection (provided by IC feature)
- Screw terminal connector for easy input and output connection
- Relimate connector for connecting potentiometer (POT) to the PCB
- Filter capacitors for low ripple DC output
- Four mounting holes of 3.2 mm each
- PCB dimensions 91 mm x 66 mm

What are the diffrence between LM317K , LM317T etc..
Thankyou…….
K is for TO-3 package and T is for TO-220
is the potentiomiter 5 volt logic? Could this be removed and have the voltage controlled by Arduino PWM?
Potentiometer adjusts the current that goes to ADJ pin of regulator, so you can’t replace it with a PWM signal. I would propose to use a digital potentiometer instead.
we cant change the Voltage or not like 28-0-28 i change to 25-0-25 he accept that voltage
How about changing the voltage in 25-0-25?
This power supply provides a single output voltage. If you need symmetrical power check this project: https://www.electronics-lab.com/project/dual-adjustable-regulated-power-supply-1-2v-to-37v-dc/
