Seeed Studio reComputer AI R2130-12: Raspberry Pi 5 with Hailo-8 AI Accelerator

The reComputer AI R2130-12 from Seeed Studio is an Edge AI computing system based on the Raspberry Pi 5. It integrates a quad-core ARM Cortex-A76 processor and 8GB SDRAM, offering robust processing capabilities. The device features dual M.2 slots for SSD storage expansion and includes the Hailo-8 AI acceleration module, which delivers up to 26 TOPS of NPU performance for real-time AI inferencing. This makes it suitable for applications such as video analytics, machine vision, and edge computing.

The system is housed in a custom chassis with an active cooling system, including a top-mounted fan. Most I/O ports are exposed, except for the GPIO header. This design ensures efficient heat dissipation while maintaining accessibility to key interfaces, supporting reliable performance for various AI workloads.
