SolidRun Announce the HummingBoard i.MX8M IIoT SBC and the IIOT-200-8M Gateway with LTE, NVMe, and AI Accelerator Expansion for Industrial IoT Applications

SolidRun has recently introduced the HummingBoard i.MX8M IIoT SBC and IIOT-200-8M Gateway, a compact and industrial-grade single-board computer designed for IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) applications. It is powered by the NXP i.MX8M Plus Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, operating at up to 1.8 GHz, and supports industrial protocols like RS232, RS485, CAN-FD, and 1Gb Ethernet. With a robust aluminium enclosure and an extended temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, it is suitable for harsh environments and industrial installations.

Connectivity options include dual Ethernet, USB 3.0, WiFi/Bluetooth, and expandable M.2 slots for LTE, NVMe storage, and AI accelerators, ensuring scalability for diverse use cases. This board supports industrial displays for HMI applications and comes with comprehensive software support for Yocto and Debian BSP, featuring drivers for peripherals like TPM 2.0, RTC, and Wi-Fi/BLE.

Its compact size (120x80x30mm) allows for DIN rail mounting, which makes it ideal for industrial automation, edge computing, and IoT gateway applications requiring high performance, reliability, and long-term availability.

As we have mentioned above, the company also introduced the IIOT-200-8M Gateway, which is the HummingBoard i.MX8M IIoT SBC is housed in a sturdy aluminium case. In this version, display support is not available, but it includes DIN rail mounting, making it better suited for tough environments.
