StreamUnlimited has recently developed in partnership with Realtek Semiconductors, the Stream210, a compact, embedded hardware module designed for audio streaming and IoT applications. This module supports Realtek Ameba RTL8730E as its core, chosen for its performance in power, size, and cost efficiency, making it suitable for technically advanced products.

The Stream210 features a dual-core ARM Cortex-A32 processor at 1.3GHz, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio, and an integrated audio CODEC and equalizer, all within a small, low-power design certified for FCC, IC, RED, MIC, and SRRC. Targeted for use in digital radios, Wi-Fi headphones, wireless speakers, home automation, and industrial IoT devices, the Stream210 is pre-integrated with StreamUnlimited’s Stream2Go software platform, supporting functions like AirPlay Audio, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and DAB+. It includes interfaces such as USB 2.0, MIPI DSI or SPI for display, PDM inputs for microphones, and analogue and digital audio I/O, along with multiple GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI, and ADC options. Available with various licensing options and local support in Asia, the module can be manufactured in China or self-manufactured with support from StreamUnlimited.

Stream210 audio streaming module programming-debug adapter
Programming-debug adapter for Stream210

StreamSDK, a complete audio streaming software solution that supports various music streaming and digital radio platforms, is also offered by StreamUnlimited. Additionally, they offer a programming-debug adapter for Stream210 and a Windows programming and recovery Tool. Designed for use in the development and production line programming of the Stream210 module. The adapter provides multiple functions essential for testing and configuration, which are connected via a USB-C port (or a dedicated pin header is available). These include Debug-UART access through a Micro-USB connector, a USB 2.0 interface for connecting a flash drive or accessories like USB-Ethernet adapters and audio cards, and the ability to enter USB boot mode for module recovery.

The Stream210 module comes pre-programmed with lightweight software that can be updated to specific product software. The Windows Programming Tool facilitates automated programming, module recovery, and configuration on production lines through the factory tool. The Stream210 is configured, tested, and locked during manufacturing using the essential setup, making it a flexible tool for streamlined product development and deployment for updating StreamSDK.
