The Toybrick TB-RK3576D development board supports debugging and firmware installation using tools like SecureCRT or Minicom for serial communication. It features a CH340 USB-to-serial chip, requiring driver installation on Windows or Linux hosts. Debugging involves configuring the port to the correct device node (e.g., /dev/ttyUSB0) with a baud rate of 1500000 and disabling flow control. The UART interface, accessible via the Type-C or dedicated debug port, facilitates efficient debugging. The board’s Wiki pages provide documentation and Quick Start guides in Chinese.
Firmware installation requires a Type-C data cable for power, a dual USB-A data cable for data transfer, and optional storage media such as a TF card or external eMMC/UFS module. The TB-RK3576D is pre-installed with Debian 11 but supports flashing alternative operating systems through loader or MaskRom modes. The process involves preparing the storage medium, installing drivers, and using tools like the Rockchip Flashtool to write firmware efficiently.
