Waveshare 11.6-inch IPS In-Cell Display has 10-point Touch and 178° Viewing Angle

Waveshare has recently launched a new 11.6-inch IPS In-Cell Display with in-cell technology. In-cell is a method where the touch sensors are embedded within the display (LCD) itself, rather than being a separate layer on top. By eliminating a layer, in-cell technology also reduces internal reflections and can improve light transmission, making the screen clearer and potentially more energy-efficient. To this date, it was found in smartphones and tablets where slim design and a responsive touch experience are prioritized.

The LCD features a 10-point capacitive touchscreen and a 1768 × 828 resolution. Additionally, it has HDMI and Type-C interfaces with a 178° viewing angle and 72% NTSC color gamut with 300cd/m² brightness.

This 11.6-inch IPS In-Cell Display is designed to work with various devices like Raspberry Pi, Jetson boards, and even some smartphones.
